What To Expect
We know showing up to the “big church on Alcoa Highway” can be intimidating. Maybe knowing a little more about what you would be a part of will help ease the tension. Here’s a little insight into what you can expect when you visit us:
Each week, we work to create an excellent experience that leaves you better than when you walked in. Many of our Sundays are peppered with creative elements to take understanding Jesus out of the box we usually leave it in and instead see Him in a whole new light. And, each service is armed with a Host Team who will make sure you get where you want to be and you feel at home along the way.
This is one of our smaller services, led by our Worship Team and a small choir. We usually start with a time of singing, specifically preparing us for the teaching we’ll hear that day. Tim Miller, our Senior Pastor, will share practically about a topic with the Bible as his foundation.
This experience is led by our Worship Team, along with full choir and orchestra. The service flow is similar to the 8:00 a.m.
(The 9:15 a.m. service is interpreted for the deaf and hard of hearing.)
Our 11:00 o’clock band steps in to lead this service, but the format is similar to the previous two experiences. We engage in a time of worship and then settle in to hear Tim Miller share practically about life and what seeing it through the lens of Jesus actually means.
The Walk wants to shape the way you view church. Live music, influential teaching, and free food all combine to redefine your definition of church. We meet Sundays at 8:00 p.m. at 2939 Alcoa Highway.
