This year our church will seek to demonstrate the love of Christ to Knoxville by serving our communities by meeting practical needs. Volunteers will serve our neighbors in more than 12 projects doing yard work, painting, construction, and other projects. You can view the projects below. There is a link at the bottom of the page to register for a project. Mark your calendar for March 4.

The day begins at 8:00 a.m. in the SHBC worship center and most projects will be complete by 1:00 p.m.

Here for Knoxville! Prayer

Woodworking Home Project

Project Description:  In partnership with Operation Backyard, the team will complete a small woodworking project for a local homeowner.

Ministry to Knoxville Homeless

Project Description: Participants will serve the Knoxville homeless by preparing hygiene bags and delivering them to a local homeless shelter. They will also learn to make mats for the homeless from used shopping bags. No special skills needed, all materials will be provided.
