Knoxville Inner City Kids Outreach (KICKO)
KICKO is “committed to transforming our inner city by equipping and empowering its children to realize their full potential and discover their God given destiny.” The centerpiece of their ministry is Sidewalk Sonday School, which takes place in various locations on weekday afternoons, with a weekly attendance of 500-600 children.
Willing hearts and hands are needed to touch the lives of children and youth. Sidewalk Sonday Schools meet Tuesday – Friday for two hours in the afternoon. Volunteers may select the day that best fits their schedule. Summer camp and a Back 2 School Block Party are annual events that also welcome volunteer involvement and contributions of support.
