Knox Community Action Committee (CAC)
Multiple programs are run by the CAC for the benefit of our community. We focus primarily on programs in need of our help in this area directed toward the assistance of senior adults.
Project LIVE provides case management, transportation, home repair and companionship for seniors and helps them Live Independently through Volunteer Efforts. Mobile Meals provides home-delivered noon meals five days a week and on holidays for senior citizens in Knox County. Grandparents as Parents is a program for grandparents who are caring for grandchildren when parents are unable or unwilling to provide care.
