Jail Ministry
Teams from Sevier Heights Baptist Church make weekly visits to the Women’s Annex and Detention Facility on the East Knoxville KCSO properties. At the annex, SHBC leads three worship services on Thursday nights and conducts a Monday morning Bible/book study each week.
Volunteers may attend and assist with the worship services or Bible studies on a weekly to monthly basis. Opportunities also exist to visit individual inmates one-on-one. Orientation is required and is provided by the KCSO.
