Instrumental Music

The Instrumental Music Ministry has always been a vital part of worship at Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Our 60-member Celebration Orchestra rehearses weekly and leads worship during every Sunday morning and Sunday evening service. The Celebration Orchestra accompanies congregational worship with the Celebration Choir as well as performing orchestra specials and recording yearly projects.

To join the Celebration Orchestra you must be in high school or older with at least one year of playing experience and have a desire to grow as a worshipper of the Lord Jesus. No audition is required. Come to any Wednesday rehearsal, and a greeter will welcome you and assist you in joining this unique ministry.

Along with the Orchestra is an exciting array of instrumental ensembles, including the SHBC woodwind ensemble, brass quintet, jazz ensemble and the popular SHBC bluegrass band! As you can see, no matter what you play there is a place for you at Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Come be a part of leading worship at Sevier Heights!
