Children's Choir

The Children’s Choir program at Sevier Heights Baptist Church is a graded choir program that includes children ages three through 6th grade. It is our goal that each child involved in this ministry grows both spiritually and musically.

The children are divided into five different choirs:
Cherubs – three year olds
The Learning Choir (TLC) – four and five year olds
Music Makers – 1st and 2nd graders
Young Musicians – 3rd and 4th graders
Extreme Praise – 5th and 6th graders

The Cherub choir presents a “parent night” two times a year in which they invite family and friends to choir and share what they are learning about God through music.

The older choirs sing in evening worship services several times a year. The 1st through 6th graders present an annual spring musical with drama, choreography and music. For the past three years the Extreme Praise Choir has participated in the Living Christmas Tree.

To be a part of this ministry, children simply come to choir on any Sunday afternoon at 4:45 p.m. in room 205 where they can find out the room number of their appropriate choir.
