Little Ones To Him Belong

Bible Fellowship - Children

In Upaji and Watoto Villages, children grow as they participate in an active curriculum designed around teaching them the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. The Children’s ministry has three large assembly rooms outfitted with 21st century technology, surrounded by classrooms where kids can learn in smaller groups to help them become fully devoted followers of Christ.

Our children’s area is a creatively themed space designed to capture the imagination of children from the time they enter the reception area. “Watoto” means children, and “Upaji” means gift of God. As children explore the truth of Jesus Christ, we pray God will make Himself known to each child, each child will accept Jesus as Lord of their lives, and they will grow in their love and knowledge of Him.

Bible Fellowship Groups

Children’s Bible Fellowship groups use age appropriate biblical curriculum aimed at helping children become more fully devoted followers of Christ. Groups meet at 8:15, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.

Other Ways to Get Involved in the Children’s Ministry

AWANA

AWANA meets throughout the school year on Wednesday evenings from 5:45-7:30 p.m. The goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls for Christ and to train them to serve Him by hiding His word in their hearts. Children in preschool (2 years old) through 5th grade learn and recite Bible verses each week and study God’s word. They also have a fun-filled game time during the evening. Our yearly highlights include the AWANA Awards Night and our end-of-year carnival.

Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir is a graded choir program on Sunday afternoons that includes children age three through 5th grade. It is our goal that each child involved in this ministry grows both spiritually and musically. To be a part of this ministry, simply come to choir at 4:45 on Sunday evening. Stop by the Welcome Center for directions to the right room.
